The biggest open-air independent poster festival in Europe, PASTE UP WARSAW, returns for its fourth edition. Starting on 30 May 2026, more than a thousand works submitted by artists from across Poland, Europe and the world will be displayed along the Vistula Boulevards and at the entrance to Poniatówka Beach. It is the only event of its kind in the capital.
PASTE UP WARSAW is a grassroots initiative. We are the largest independent outdoor poster festival in Europe. Each year we grow stronger, and the number of submitted works continues to rise. “In 2025 we showcased 1,050 works by more than 500 artists on the Vistula Boulevards,” says Szymon Szpanowski, one of the festival’s organizers.
SUBMISSIONS
Submissions for PASTE UP WARSAW 2026 will be open from 1 January to 30 April 2026.
Any creator wishing to submit a work can visit pasteupwarsaw.com, where all details are available.
Both professional and emerging artists are welcome to take part. There are no limits regarding technique or theme.
“If you’re a creator, this is a perfect opportunity to showcase your work to thousands of people in public space—both during the festival in Warsaw and at its European editions,” highlights Szpanowski.
“We welcome anyone who creates visually—graphic designers, illustrators, designers, digital artists and beginners who simply want to give it a try. This is a place that guarantees real visibility,” he adds.
The festival is organized by the External Arts Foundation (Fundacja Sztuki Zewnętrznej). “We are a group of independent artists known for our dedication and passion. We’re always looking for other creators who share the same energy,” says Szpanowski.
THE FESTIVAL
PASTE UP WARSAW is also unique for its setting. From 30 May 2026, the artworks will be displayed along the Vistula Boulevards —200 meters of retaining wall right next to the river. The exhibition is open to everyone. No tickets required—just step outside and experience original works by artists from many countries. It’s a perfect spot for a walk, a bike ride or meeting friends.
In 2025, a second festival location was opened at the entrance to Poniatówka Beach, near the National Stadium.
SATELLITE EXHIBITIONS
Works presented during PASTE UP WARSAW have also been showcased at satellite exhibitions in Poland and across Europe:
• LONDON – on the walls of the FOLD club
• MOSTAR – during the Street Arts Festival Mostar
• TARNÓW – the first Polish touring edition
